Ciara graduated in 2003 with a (BSc(hons) osteopathic medicine.  She has worked/volunteered as an osteopath in many countries, including Eswatini, Sri Lanka, UK, Ireland and Canada. She gained experience as an associate in busy osteopathic clinics, a physiotherapy clinic and also in her own clinics. Ciara volunteered at the Manchester osteopathic centre for children and Lanka osteopathic centre for children (Sri Lanka), where she was mentored by very experienced paediatric osteopaths.

She uses a gentle holistic approach, allowing her to successfully treat patients of all ages. She has a special interest in treating babies, children, pregnant women, post partum women, and the elderly. 

She returned to live Ireland with her Canadian husband and two children in 2022.
