Michael Laverty is dedicated to helping you achieve optimal health and return to peak performance as swiftly as possible. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Osteopathy (BOst) from Staffordshire University in 2015. Shortly after qualifying, Michael was invited to join the world-renowned Team Sky—the most successful cycling team in history—providing osteopathic care to elite athletes. His expertise quickly made him an integral part of their sports medicine team, traveling across the globe to support the world’s top endurance athletes.

 

A familiar face at the Tour de France, Michael has extensive experience managing acute injuries and optimizing performance for athletes at the highest level. His role with INEOS Grenadiers is also featured in the Netflix documentary “Unchained,” showcasing the critical impact of sports medicine in elite cycling.

 

To further deepen his knowledge, Michael completed a Master’s in Sports & Exercise Medicine at Manchester Metropolitan University. This advanced training empowers him to bring the latest evidence-based practices to Dundalk Osteopathy Clinic, ensuring that every patient—from office workers to Olympic gold medallists—receives top-quality care and support.
