The “Blackrock Osteopaths” Clinic practice was founded in 1993 by Simon Curtis -initially running successful practices in both London and Dublin

Simon is the senior practitioner having been working as an osteopath for over 35 years, and having gained extensive, well recognised senior qualifications in the basic medical sciences before his Osteopathy training:

·       B.Sc. in Physiology from the London University

·       M.Sc. in Neurophysiology from the London Guildhall University

·       Dip. Osteopathy (1989) from the respected British School of Osteopathy

 

As well and clinical practice, Simon Curtis has-

·       Taught courses in Sports Injuries and in Human Physiology at a University in London.

·       Held posts as lecturer and clinic tutor at the British School of Osteopathy for 10 years.

·       Taught courses to Senior and Post-Graduate Physical Therapy students.

·       Lectured to Osteopathic groups throughout Ireland.

·       Lectured to Chartered Physiotherapists in Women’s Health Incontinence Group on “An Osteopathic Approach to Pelvic Problems in Women”

Simon has an active interest in sports, exercise and dance, and has worked with GAA clubs, hockey clubs, rugby clubs and internationally renowned dancers and martial artists.
